VIPS Iftar & Doa Mahfil 2023

On April 15, 2023, Saturday, during the 23rd Ramadan, Visually Impaired People’s Society (VIPS) organized a Hamd-Naat competition, a prize-giving ceremony, and an Iftar Mahfil for VIPS members, staff, and their families with the support of Quality Feeds Limited.

The program was held at Grand Prince Thai and Chinese Restaurant, Tajmahal Road, Mohammadpur.

VIPS members, their family members, VIPS executive members, VIPS staff, and executive members, including Quality Feeds Limited representatives, attended this program.

The program was divided into two parts:

In the first phase, there was a Hamd-Naat competition for VIPS members. This competition was divided into two groups: a male group and a female group.

For this competition, renowned Najrul Sangeet singer Dalia Naushen, Nasima Shaheen Fancy, Chayanoaut Biddyatan, Dhaka, and Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Professor, Department of Music, Jagannath University, were present as judges.

At the end of the Hamd-Naat competition, prizes were distributed among the winners’ male and female members by the judges present and members of the Executive Board of VIPS.

Judges expressed their feelings by saying that through this kind of competition, many more opportunities will be created to develop the talent of visually impaired people.

After the completion of the first part of the program, the second phase started. There was a prayer and iftar arrangement for all the attendees of this program.

The program was presided over by VIPS president Nasrin Jahan and moderated by Md. Jahangir Alam, General Secretary of VIPS.

Nasrin Jahan, President of VIPS said in collaboration with Quality Feeds Limited this program is really memorable for the visually impaired members of VIPS and concluded the program by wishing everyone well and thanking Quality Feeds Limited for their cooperation in this organization.
