Advocacy on the Implementation of the Marrakesh Treaty

Project Activities:

 

Ø Orient and consult about Marrakesh Treaty accession and way forward with 300 people, among the participants there were VIPS members and beneficiaries, OPDs / NGOs/INGOs representatives and Government officials.

Ø Arranged consultation meeting for 20 visually impaired teachers and students on identifying gaps and way forward for claiming equity in education for leaders and teachers with disabilities.

Ø Arranged orientation on Marrakesh Treaty accession and way forward consultation meeting with 30 writers, publishers and journalist.

Ø Made two video documentaries about ensured equity in education and mass awareness of Marrakesh treaty.

Ø The main focus of this project was to Mass Awareness of Marrakesh Treaty Accession and its Effective Implementation by the Bangladesh Government through Enacting draft copyright act 2022.
